The Explorer Pass of Scotland: What It Is and Do You Really Need It?

While we were visiting Scotland, we had quite a few castles and other attractions on our list. Unfortunately, we didn’t know about the Explorer Pass until it was too late to make full use of it. That’s why this week, we are doing a full blown post on it so that no one else has to spend as much money as we did!

What is it

The Explorer Pass is a pass that guarantees you entry into over 70 attractions (40 in the winter) all around Scotland! It’s super affordable and easy to manage! We definitely should have gotten on of these and saved ourselves a ton of money!!

Price

When it comes to pricing, there’s a 5 day pass and a 14 day pass. If you’re going to see a lot on this list then I would recommend the 14 day pass since it does have to be consecutive days once you activate your pass.
