As you know, Nashville, has some of the best festivals out there. I mean come on…we are Music City of course!! Nashville’s Summer Festivals are some of the best in the world! Hello…CMA Fest AND Bonnaroo? This summer isn’t going to be any different! We’re bringing you all the festivals that are happening in and around Nashville this Summer.
Starting off Nashville’s Summer Festivals is the Portland Strawberry Festival! Enjoy live music, over 125 food, craft & information vendors, contests, inflatables & activities for kids, carnival, 5K walk/run and more! The parade will be at 4:00 pm followed by a free concert at 6:30 pm on the Market Street stage. Fireworks will follow the concert in the downtown Portland area.
The Boro BBQ Beerfest (located in Murfreesboro, TN) will feature unlimited 4 oz pours of craft beer from BountyBev Nashville’s only 100% American Craft Distributor. Breweries participating are TW Pitchers’, East Nashville Beer Works, Hutton & Smith, Bell’s, Blake’s, Rhinegeist and Dogfish Head. All profits go back into the community to support special projects by the Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club. There will also be free music all day at the front porch and gazebo.
The Nashville Margarita Festival is on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm in Walk of Fame Park. You can sample over a dozen margaritas from local hotspots like Rare Bird and Taco Mamacita, then vote on your favorite. DJs will keep the party going while you sip. There will also be food and full-size drinks available for purchase. Tickets are $35 in advance.
Taste of Music City is Nashville’s largest food and drink festival happening at Public Square Park. One ticket offers unlimited samplings of food and drink from some of the best restaurants and beverage crafters in Nashville and beyond.
This is the bread and butter of Nashville’s summer festivals! This 4-day fest is amazing for all country music lovers! There is live music everywhere, meet-and-greets, autograph signings, celebrity sporting events, and more. With free concerts all over downtown Nashville on multiple stages, you can’t go wrong coming to this city for this event!
Another excellent Nashville summer festival is none other than the Bonnaroo Music and Art Festival! This is another 4-day music festival located in Manchester, Tn; just outside of Nashville. Over 150 musical performances, along with comedy, cinema, sustainability workshops, and more.
This 2-day festival celebrates the vitality of the Jefferson Street community through its arts, music, and food culture. It kicks off with the annual Bridging the Gap Mixer on the Shelby Street bridge. The next day brings day-long music, arts, and food festival featuring local and national jazz and blues artists, plus food and retail vendors from the North Nashville community
June 22 & 23
Over 100 floats, vehicles, bands, walkers and much more will travel down Nashville’s famous Broadway between 8th and 2nd Avenues. The fun starts at 10 A. M., Saturday, June 22nd. Only registered and approved persons/organizations/floats/vehicles will be able to participate in the parade. Spectators will line Broadway and be invited to join the parade at the end and walk together to the festival grounds.
Every year the festival features top-rated entertainment on the Main Stage, an entertainment/drag stage, Kids and Family Zone, and Youth Area, and over 225 vendors featuring local not for profits, artists, and businesses. Entry fee is $5 per day
The day starts at daybreak with a scheduled Hot Air Balloon launch, on the polo field! After the Hot Air Balloon launch, the food, wine and polo portion kicks off around 11 AM for Golden Mallet VIP’s and Founder’s Lounge Passholders. The VIP portion of the event will include live music, a Hospitality Alcohol Tasting Tent, a Battle of the Chefs Tasting Competition, rivalry Polo Matches, and kids play area. For all pass holders, don’t forget to join us for an evening Hot Air Balloon Glow and Tethered Rides. Founder’s Lounge Passholders will also be able to enjoy a Farm to Table Dinner on the Polo Field with the Polo Players that evening.
If you didn’t already know, Nashville Is known for its hot chicken. Every year on the 4th of July, hot chicken lovers gather at East Park for the Music City Hot Chicken Festival. It’s one of my favorite of Nashville’s summer festivals! Most importantly, this is a free event is perfect to try out Nashville’s best hot chicken where creators offer up tastes of their fiery dishes to all.
Most importantly, after visiting the Hot Chicken Festival, head over to downtown Nashville to see the 4th of July fireworks.The Nashville Symphony will be playing an original medley of songs performed live and perfectly choreographed to the fireworks spectacular! It wouldn’t be Nashville without country music either! The lineup this year includes Mac McAnally, Jessy Wilson, Dylan Scott, and Brett Eldredge!
Besides music, a variety of food and beverage will be served, there will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, there will be areas set up for purchase of items such as arts & crafts, CD’s, t-shirts, souvenir items, and gifts, as well as games, photos, and other exciting interactive activities.
The festival will be taking place at the Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville. The Speedway has bleacher seating for every price level.

Music City Jazz Festival is more than an outdoor concert, it’s an event! It’s a place to people-watch, eat, drink, mingle, relax soak in the rays, and of course hear some of the coolest music performed by national recording smooth jazz artist. Our Jazz Festival will feature classy veterans who have set the standard to young lions taking the jazz scene by storm, all capturing the spirit of smooth jazz that knows no boundaries in exhilarating, intimate performances.
This family-friendly event will feature numerous authentic Caribbean chefs, restaurants and vendors. They will not only be preparing and serving their best dishes but also competing for the top vendor bragging rights. There will be tropical Bar with fruit smoothies and alcoholic beverages, as well as live entertainment. Tickets are $10
If you like beer, pretzels, and live music, this festival is perfect for you! Grab your pretzel necklace for the annual beer festival! This festival celebrates brews from local, regional, national, and international breweries. This event is happening at Music City Walk of Fame Park.
Hop aboard a train and travel through the Tennessee countryside enjoying a wine tasting. There will also be live music on the train and at the destination, and dancing. Passengers are encouraged to dress vintage and party like it’s 1959. You won’t want to miss this event! Tickets are $135 and sell out fast!
