Beauty Boxes are all the craze these days! Some are great and some are just simply a waste of money. We are giving you guys our top 10 beauty boxes that we are totally digging right now!
Play! By Sephora
I got in on the ground floor of Play! When it first dropped. I love it. It helps to try out mini versions of new products before actually shelling out full price for something that you may not like. Each box comes with a coupon for 50 bonus beauty points if you buy the full-size versions of any of the items in the box. I’ve read some reviews that people started getting duplicate items once they were subscribing for a while. I’ve had that happen but never more than once or twice. Most of the time when I’ve had duplicate items, the items in question, fit with the theme of the box and I just ignore the fact that it’s a duplicate.
Play! Smarts by Sephora
Play! Smarts is just an amped up version of Play! It includes a live video tutorial of how to use the products in your box and you get a coupon for 50 bonus beauty points if you buy the full-size versions of any of the items in the box.
Target Beauty Box
Target’s Beauty Box is one that you better buy quick! They sell out really fast and they include full-size items in each box. Including full-size items is a big bonus for the price point! What I love about Target’s Beauty Boxes is that they have them for men and for women!
With Ipsy, you get 5 beauty items for $10 a month. When going through the sign-up process you’re asked a set of questions to really personalize your picks. It even asks your comfort level with makeup and what your favorite brands are. That type of personalization for $10 a month is CRAZY!
Allure Beauty Box
With Allure’s Beauty Box, you get the editors top picks for the month for $15. It also includes a mini magazine with tips and tricks on how to wear every item in the box. The items are a mixture of full and travel size items. Plus when you sign up, you get a mystery bonus gift!
Birchbox includes a personalized mix of makeup, skin care, hair care, and fragrances! Each box contains 5 items that are from prestigious or niche brands. They are all tailored to fit the profile that you complete when you sign up! It’s a great way to find your new favorites!
Scentbird is turning into the jack of all trades. Not only do they have fragrances, but they have lotions and body washes to add on to their fragrance subscription. Now they’re actually partnering with Deck of Scarlet to add makeup to the mix of add-ons. I would love to try Deck if Scarlet but at almost $40 a month, it’s a little too out of my budget. So hopefully this partnership will allow me to try Deck if Scarlet for a lot less.
Macy’s Beauty Box
With Macy’s Beauty Box, you know that you’re getting department store quality in every product that you receive. You get a chic pouch, 5 sample size items from Macy’s Beauty Department, and a $5 coupon for your next purchase!
The waitlist is off for new Boxycharm members! Each Boxycharm box includes travel size items and typically A FULL-SIZE EYESHADOW PALETTE!! That’s crazy in my book! You can go online and look at past boxes and see what goodies were in those boxes before making your decision.
Petit Vour’s Beauty Box includes travel and full-size products that are cruelty-free, non-toxic, and plant-based! I feel like having access to these types of products is becoming more and more essential! I like to know what I’m putting on my skin and this box really does that for me!
