Wet N Wild Weekend @ Jellystone

Get ready for a wet and wild week of water waters at Jellystone Park™! Be sure to have your water guns loaded, water balloons filled and be ready for the wet Hey, Hey, Hey Ride! There will be many water gun shoots with the Rangers throughout the week. Beat the heat with this week full of water activities for the whole family.

With temperatures on the rise, the Zoo transforms into a water wonderland complete with slides, wet and wild games, splashy attractions and more. Guests can pick up a keeper talk schedule at the front gate to see some of the Zoo’s animals devour their own brand of popsicles, like frozen grapes, turkey broth pops and chilled meal worms.
Summer Splash H2Oliday is included with Zoo admission. However, some activities have additional fees.
4th Annual Waterfest

Waterfest is a free, one-day family festival all about celebrating and connecting youth and their families to local water. There will be over 30 educational exhibitors, water slides, music, trivia, dancing, prizes, and more!
Exhibitors include Nashville Zoo, Adventure Science Center, Urban Green Lab, Walk Bike Nashville, Cumberland River Compact, Harpeth Conservancy, Tennessee Environmental Council, The Nature Conservancy, Tennessee Tech University, and more! Youth can be entered to win prizes for local businesses including LaserQuest, Nashville Zoo, Tito’s Playland, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Cheekwood, and a grand prize from Leadership Academy Camps!

This free family festival is all about celebrating our rivers and connecting children to our local waters. Hosted in partnership with the Cumberland River Compact, this event combines education and fun: attendees will learn about the importance of water quality in our watershed through fun and engaging environmental-based activities suitable for the entire family. Goodlettsville WaterFest will feature an educational scavenger hunt, waterslide, prizes, food, and much more!

Join us on the water as we launch from Volunteer Park. Boats, PFD’s, and paddles provided; sunscreen and bug spray

Kids Water Day

Join us for Kids Water Day at Pinkerton Park for one last hoorah before school starts. Water relays, water gun fights, water slides, and beach balls…this event has all the water fun imaginable! Bring your swimsuit and a beach towel, and we’ll provide the rest. Light snacks will be provided to attendees.

It is summertime and it is HOT! Refresh yourself with us. We’ll play in water, discuss animals that live in or near the water and explore anything and all things water.
2018 Splash Day
Where: Charlie Daniels Park;
When: Saturday, July 28th from 11 AM – 2 PM
This FREE event will transform Charlie Daniels Park into a mini water park for children consisting of free play in the splash pad, inflatable water slides, and an inflatable slip-n-slide. This event is recommended for ages 5 -12. Children (under 18) MUST have their legal guardian sign a waiver to be allowed to participate.
