Independence Day Events In And Around Nashville

Next week is Independence Day! Yay!! This is the day we celebrate our independence from Great Britain. This holiday is one of my favorite summer holidays. You have good food, great booze, awesome fireworks, and fantastic outfits. What’s not to love? Today we are going to give you some awesome Independence Day events in and around Nashville!

Nashville 4th parties

Let Freedom Sing: The Nashville Fireworks Show

Main Stage: 5th Avenue and Broadway

Fireworks Show: Cumberland Riverfront

Cost: Free

This is an amazing show and it’s completely free! They just announced this year’s lineup and A DJ will entertain from noon until 4:00 pm followed by live performances by Lady Antebellum, Chris Janson, Lucie Silvas, Shannon Sanders, and the Nashville Symphony. The show is completely free with the main stage being located at 5th Avenue and Broadway. The show will then shift over to Cumberland Riverfront for the fireworks show synchronized with The Nashville Symphony who will be playing at Ascend Amphitheater. Also, while you’re taking your glamorous photos of the evening’s events, make sure that you’re using the hashtag #nashvillejuly4 when you post!



July 4th Red, White, and BBQ

Location: L27 Rooftop Bar | SoBro

Cost: $75

Nashville’s highest rooftop bar, L27 Rooftop Lounge, is hosting Red, White, & BBQ on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from 6:00 pm to midnight. The celebration will feature BBQ, festive cocktails, music, and beautiful views of Nashville.



Red, White, & Booze 4th of July Rooftop Party

Location: Mellow Mushroom Broadway | Downtown

Cost: $50 in advance | $75 at the door

The four-story Mellow Mushroom on Lower Broadway is hosting Red, White, & Booze 4th of July Rooftop Party on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Only 100 tickets are available, which are $50 in advance and $75 at the door. This event is 21 and over only.



Nashville Hot Chicken Festival

Location: East Park | East Nashville

Cost: Free Entry

The Nashville Hot Chicken Festival takes place on July 4, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at East Park. This festival includes hot chicken, cold beer, live music, and loads of other vendors. This event is free family friendly. It also gives you time to hang out for a bit and then move downtown to watch the free live shows and fireworks display!



2018 Franklin Civic Celebration

When: Monday, July 2nd, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. | Tuesday, July 3rd, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. | Wednesday, July 4th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Lions Legend Park (Loomis Road & Drexel Avenue)

Cost: Free

Another family-friendly event is the Franklin Civic Celebration! Franklin sure knows how to party! They are having a 3-day event! It’ll include great food, carnival rides, and activities for kids of all ages!  Live bands will include Doo-Wop Daddies, Bella Cain, Up All Night, Bobby Friss, and the Wisconsin Marching Band. Brew City Wrestling will provide family-friendly entertainment for all ages on Tuesday, July 3rd. On July 4th, they’ll have the Children’s Parade, followed by the Main Parade. That night they’ll have an awesome fireworks display! One thing is for sure… Franklin sure knows how to party!
