National Martini Day 1

National Martini Day

Happy National Martini Day everyone! This is one of my favorite holidays. 😉 Any excuse to have a cocktail is a good holiday in my opinion! I am visiting family in Grand Haven, Michigan and there is a restaurant called the Theater Bar that serves the most amazing martinis in town.

National Martini Day 2

It is a small bar area wedged between Dee-Lite and The Grand. With live music 7 days a week, you want to make sure you get there early for a good spot! If martinis are not your thing, they have many other drink options for you as you enjoy your surroundings. My mom and I recently visited this town staple and I just had to share some of their amazing concoctions.

National Martini Day 3

Starry Night

Ingredients: Godiva chocolate liqueur, Vanilla Vodka, and Bailey’s

National Martini Day 4

This is my mom’s favorite martini ever! Every time we go to the theater bar, she has to get a Chocolate Martini. My stomach can’t handle the chocolate liqueur (sad I know) but according to her it is so smooth and tastes just like a milkshake.

Frank Sinatra ‘Blue Eyes’

Ingredients: Hypnotiq, Malibu, mango, and blue curaçao

National Martini Day 5

Not on the theater bar menu, this fruity drink was a hidden gem! This martini reminds me of Island breezes… Ahhh the memories.

Musical Fountain

Ingredients: Stoli Vanil Amaretto, Chambord, Peach Schnapps, and a splash of sour

National Martini Day 6

The musical fountain has been a staple in Grand Haven for years! I remember walking into town from the state park just to watch the fountains when I was little. Even now they are amazing to watch. So this martini was a no-brainer to me! Let me tell you, like the actual fountain, this martini did not disappoint!

Ingredients: Absolut Citron, cranberry juice, and orange juice

National Martini Day 7

Since we live for the beach, I had to try this martini! It was as delicious as it sounded! I really wanted to get a second one but with so many yummy martinis on the menu, I had to try another! This one was at the top of my list though!

Key West

Ingredients: Malibu, mango nectar, orange juice, and Creme de Banane

National Martini Day 8

“It tastes just like key west!” These were the first words out of my mom’s mouth after tasting this delicious martini for the first time. If you love a refreshing and tropical drink, this is the one for you!

There were so many different kinds of martini’s that we couldn’t try them all! What’s that saying again…..?
