    March Book Reviews

Earlier this month we wrote March Book Buzz. Here are our reviews for the books we read!! A Discovery Of Witches By Deborah Harkness I loved this book! I was hooked by the first page and couldn’t put it down. If you know me at all, you know I love anything to do with England. This book had many different settings (including France and USA) but also Oxford. It was awesome to read about some of the places I hope to visit soon! I would characterize this book as supernatural or syfy romance just because it has vampires, witches, and demons as its characters. There is an ancient enchanted book,…

How to make it a great Easter

The Easter holiday is upon us and while neither Chelsey nor I have kids (Chelsey has an adorable niece) we try to make each holiday as fun and memorable as possible. Holidays can be very stressful though so here are some things you can do to make Easter more fun! Have an Easter egg hunt! Scatter those colorful plastic eggs around your yard and let the kids go to town! Even if you don’t have kids, you could fill the eggs up with fun adult items to find. Don’t let the weather stop the fun either. You could place them around your house and under/around furniture for your friends or…

Everything You Need to Know to Tackle Spring Cleaning

It’s officially spring! WOOHOO!! It’s time to get your clean on! I’ve been cleaning, arranging, and rearranging around my house and at work for over two weeks now (you can just ask my coworker…he’ll tell you what I put him through on the daily). I’d like to say that everything in my house stays perfectly tidy all the time but that’s not true by a long shot. I’m not a fan of cleaning I tend to push it off until the weekends and Courtney can attest to the fact that I hate doing dishes (mainly the utensils part) with a passion. That being said I do love getting everything deep…

    Let’s ShamROCK and Roll

Ahh…St. Patrick’s Day…the holiday where everyone suddenly becomes VERY in tune with their inner irish heritage. Seas of green roam the street, shamrock decorations are everywhere, and booze as far as the eye can see. It’s a very exciting holiday and needless to say…we love it!! Courtney and I were brainstorming an idea of what to post for St. Patty’s Day, and Courtney came across this awesome recipe for shamROCK cookies and we decided to recreate it! While we were shopping for the ingredients for our cookies at Target, Courtney spotted this super cute shirt, along with this headband and flask from their dollar section! (and let’s be honest…we can…

How to Create a Vision Board to Achieve Your Goals

Every January 1st, I  like to make new year resolutions. And it seems like every year I  break them after a few weeks. Why bother making them if we don’t follow through? This year I had an awesome plan to accomplish my goals. I was determined to succeed because the end result would feel so good! Well, I started off on the right track and then I hurt my foot. It’s been almost a month and I haven’t been able to work out. I convinced myself that because I couldn’t do one of my goals why bother putting in the effort for the others. That’s going to change starting this…
