March Goals
Courtney here and it’s time to get real about making goals. I will be the first person to say I make goals for myself all the time but don’t end up keeping them for long. So frustrating. I had high hopes the start of this year! I made a list of my goals for the year and even made a vision board to keep me on track (more about that later). Ultimately, I wanted to be happier and live a healthier lifestyle.
I started off great! Started meal planning, eating really healthy and exercising a lot more! That’s when things went downhill. Apparently, because I went hardcore into working out, I got a foot injury which wasn’t properly diagnosed until last week…. Crazy right! It’s been 3 weeks since I last exercised and I got so frustrated with my situation that my healthy food prep went by the wayside.
I’m hoping to get back on track this month, especially with healthy eating and meal prep. I felt so good and proud of myself when I was eating the good foods. Maybe, with your help, I’ll be able to stay on track and live a healthier lifestyle.
That being said, here are our current goals for the month! We will be keeping you updated on facebook, twitter, and Instagram. Make sure you are following us so we can keep you posted on our progress.
- Read 5 books: I know in our last post we said we are reading 10 books. Chelsey and I are going to read 5 books each. Although I’m sure we will be reading more than that! Chelsey’s suggestions look like very good reads!
- Start spring cleaning: I am not the best at keeping up with cleaning and organizing. My goal this month is to get a jumpstart and get rid of clothes that I honestly don’t wear.
- Meal prep: When I’m exhausted from working, the last thing I want to do think about what to eat. When I have my meals planned out I eat healthier and only buy the food I actually need, I don’t waste as much money!

Good luck working toward these goals! I meant to read 5 books in February and ALMOST made it! And thanks for the push to start spring cleaning…

Good luck with all of your March goals. I’m really going to try and be more active this month, and hopefully start eating healthier again. I need to try and meal plan/prep (especially for dinners) because coming home from work just makes me want to eat whatever is on hand. hah

I’m the same way! When I’m on a roll, I’ll do a ton of crockpot meals so I don’t have to really worry with anything and there’s virtually no clean up!
