What to Skip on Your Trip to London

    January 31, 2019 /

Ahh, London. We were so excited to be able to add this glorious city to our two-week adventure that we couldn’t even stand ourselves. It’s a fantastic city to visit and probably to live in as well. While we absolutely loved London, there were some things that just didn’t live up to the hype.  We want to let you guys know what we didn’t like about dear ole London so that you can plan your trip accordingly!     The Tate Modern OK. I know that The Tate is a staple for London, but we just couldn’t get into it. Now we don’t claim to know anything about art (and…

    January 29, 2019 /

There are so many places to stay in London that it can get a bit overwhelming. Knowing where to stay in London can get confusing too. Not only do you have so many amazing neighborhoods to choose from, but you have to decide what type of accommodations you want. Your options include hotels, hostels, and even entire homes if you’re looking through sites like Airbnb. London is made up of 33 districts with the city only serving a small part. The main sites (Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye, etc.) are not even located in this area. There is no real “downtown” since the sights are spread out around the city.…

Everything you must see and do in London

    January 22, 2019 /

“A bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else.” Whoever said that wasn’t kidding. I have dreamed about visiting London for as long as I can remember. One of my best friends is from England (hi Steph!) and I remember the first time bombarding her with questions. The whole city has always fascinated me and it did not disappoint! We loved every moment of our trip to London and these are the things you must see and do on your next trip! The Changing Of The Guard at Buckingham Palace Any trip to London can’t be complete without seeing the changing of the guard at…

    An Apology

    January 17, 2019 /

First of all, we want to apologize to our readers on being absent recently! As we all know too well, life can get hectic sometimes and over the past month it has been a little overwhelming. Despite both Chelsey and I having a 2 week winter break (the joys of being a teacher) neither of us were able to motivate ourselves to do anything but binge watch Netflix and chill. It was fantastic! With that came the dreaded guilt though. We had all the time in the world to write and couldn’t bring ourselves to do anything. I felt like I was doing a disservice to not only our readers…
